The platform is built on technology acquired in June 2022, which previously powered a leading online leisure travel agency that generated over $450 million in annual sales prior to the pandemic.
Since 2022, NextTrip has focused on fully integrating and enhancing the NXT2.0 platform as the foundation for its current and future travel technology initiatives. The Company has also expanded its capabilities through key strategic acquisitions, including Five Star Alliance, a well-established luxury travel and lodging agency that now adds cruise and concierge-level services to the platform, and JOURNY.tv, a premier FAST channel for travel discovery, inspiration, and planning. JOURNY.tv reaches an engaged audience across 17 million active devices and provides a powerful content and storytelling engine expected to drive awareness and conversion for both travel partners and advertisers. These additions, combined with NextTrip’s proprietary technology, curated product offerings, media assets, and high-touch customer service, create a differentiated, content-driven travel experience tailored to mid- and luxury-level travelers.
